the truth is:

I just... I just feel really dumb. It's nagging at me and I'm starting to realize that I won't get into whatever college I want to, just because I may have a pretty portfolio and maybe i have some enthusiasm, they will look at my grades and throw me away.
And I don't want to get thrown away, but i'm not good enough not to.

Life really hurts right now. I hate being weepy like this so I'll probably delete this in 24 hours :-(

haven't been here for awhile!
reckless was SUPER WONDERFUL (i went sunday) i loooveed it. good job guys!! it was so nice to see carolyn :-)
school is um, interesting. i'm dropping psych which means no notes this week! its so dumb and my teacher is NEVER there. and it ruins my weekends (not like i have anything better to do). tomorrow i'm watching pocahontas with the singalong and "If I Never Knew You"--- quite fantastical!!!
what else is new. i'm going to michigan this week for THANKSGIVING oh boy oh boyo and today we lost in acad comp to the manly girls who always win. how lame. susan and i have GIRL PRIDE. i saw the Prestige a really long time ago and rekindled my love for christian bale :-*. school will hopefully not suck as much with psych gone, so things will hopefully look up!! my mom is seeing mary poppins in january without meeee which is very sad. very sad. and then there are sweeney todd auditions, just for kicks. glad marching band is over. di is getting less embarrassing and more FUN (i can't wait until our team leader comes back :-)!!!).

Okay so for the Halloween parade on Saturday, the clarinets are doing superheroes. I was going to try and do Violet.
Do you guys have any ideas as to what I should do to myself?
I was thinking I would wear my hair in my face or maybe with that headband she has at the end of the movie? and black eyeliner, but I dont know what else! plus, I know you guys are SUPER creative :-).

My mom left for INDIA yesterday for two weeks of mission stuff. which is sad because I'll miss her, and my dad is all "okay, so when will you be doing this hwk and lets make a schedule!" GAAAHHHHHH so I'm pretty much pulling my hair out- I have so much hwk and PSAT stuff that there's no way I will make it to bed before at least 1, which means SOMEHOW I have to erm, secretly do my hwk? Yeah, that adds some stress that I definitely don't want.

Fun things ahead!

OHHHH and I have a baby egg for psych now. His name is Gilbert, because I'm going through this Anne of Avonlea withdrawal phase :-). Other than that, the best part in my life right now is how ridiculously wonderful my friends are- if I didn't have them I would stress out about my terrible grades 24/7.

So, not feeling too optimistic about this year!!

P.S. Did you guys have that crazy art sub for Mrs Burns today?!

There simply is not enough time in the day for all of the things that I want to do, and by that I mean do well in the things that I want to do.

Marching band is taking over my LIFE, after school things are picking up (acad comp, di, tri-m, nahs), psych notes are ridiculous, lang/chem/math requires thinking, US is stupid and bad in all ways possible, German makes me cry, I can't practice clarinet, my sketchbooks are shameful....

Why is my life so stressful? I have no sleep! I really don't know how you guys do it!
(what is really scary though is when we run out of caffeinated pop)

maybe it's also b/c um, my gparents were here and at our house we followed the amish updates religiously and we're trying to get a new pastor which makes everything kind of frantic.

But hey, my parents are going out of town, I'll see my friends, and I'll be spending a good fifteen hours in band this weekend...!!

So maybe things will get better!

In other news, I watched some TV tonight that my mom taped for me:
"The Class"- new, ridiculously funny. It has Coney-bear from Spelling Bee in it (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) who is my absolute FAVORITE and he gave Kristen a hug when we saw it. Oh mannn this is the best... everyone should see it at least once, i think its on on mondays.
hahaha.

and of course Grey's- which made me cry- we didn't tape the last five minutes so next week will be a TOTAL surprise :-). oh boy!

GUESS WHAT!! I learned that my old Sunday School teacher's grandmother almost went on the Titanic(!!!!). And she had a ticket and everything to leave Southampton but for some reason she didnt! and then her uncle tragically threw the ticket out!!
HOW COOL IS THAT? I got so excited I think I scared her because I interrupted the person she was telling this to to be all "OH MY GOSH THAT IS SOOO AWESOME!!" and emma and I were at this LWML luncheon so it was us and all these old ladies, who didn't realize I was so, um, enthusiastic.

ISNT THAT AWESOME THOUGH?!!!! I KNOW!
In other news my parentals are freaking out about the SATs (what are you going to do today hannah- study your three hundred flashcards right? and YOU DO REALIZE that this DEFINES your choices in life right?) and its just really annoying, but what can you do?

And I'm also proud because I finished all that german, thanks to the german bible of german bibles!

-went on a whole lot of ADVENTURES!
-saw Hairspray
-hung out with my mom and watched oodles of movies
-went all out on Gilmore Girls (every episode, seasons 1-5 bc we all know 6 was bad)
-art class @ academy, drawing w/ sarah p.
-art class @ academy, painting w/ kathy s.
-art class @ chester springs, painting
-trip to Ellis Island with my bff, gabrielle b.
-shopped too much
-ate too much
-baked muffins and entertained my mom's friends
-put stuff up at paoli library
-party with gabby and casey
-saw Pirates 2, Devil wears Prada, and Superman Returns
-missed people, including my sister.
-obtained the german bible of german bibles
-watched too much Friends on a daily basis
-summer health blah
-Christian Bale parties 1 and 2 with casey
-drove
-car wash

-rode in a limo/surprise party
-and yesterday we went on a family field trip to hit some ROCKS with HAMMERS oh my gosh!

So a marvelous first week of Gilmore Girls (season 4) and Sims2 (oh gosh)! But it will be super nice to get back to a schedule. Especially with fun things like drawing. Oh boy oh boy! I'm just going to forget about all that german homework and SUCH that I have to do.... :-).

Loser club (DI) was MAD fun and not so loserish after all! Julia Rose I hope you keep that sheet forever. And laminate it :-). It was really awesome. Some serious bondage! And after prom looks beautiful!!
hahahaa. I went to art class today and that was pretty wicked. I got educated on Charles Willson Peale. He's a very awesome guy. Emma bought the 3rd season of Gilmore Girls and we are having a great time with that. And then I watched the Preakness!.. I am really upset that Barbaro had to pull out- I hope hope he's okay!!! It was very emotional. This week is going to be incredible: we've got 2 (!) pre-seasons, di, gabbys bday, banquet, art, some Gilmore girls...

I also received some VERY DISHEARTENING news! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE:
- Taking away Everwood
- Giving us ANOTHER ABOMINABLE SEASON of 7th Heaven. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS WORLD?!!

So i was wondering: how's come people have to change when you go out with them? its totally uncool. toastally. i DONT understand at all.

also i really like art class when we make the WEBSITES!! they are pretty fun. I am technologically challenged but I think that's okay.... we have a bio test tomorrow and I decided that I'm going to put my hair in braids and then on SATURDAY i have art class and that loser club thing.

I'm working on this pastel of Barbaro and its pretty awesome- I think I've worked maybe ten hours so far and im only a third done!! AHHH!! and then I'm in the middle of watching the third season of gilmore girls :-) I love that show. I hope they get more good writers next year!!

i decided that i really like the show america's next top model because its sort of ridiculous and sort of not and i also really like incest. there are a lot of really cool people who just so happen to be incested. Like monarchs! oh boy.

I hope it rains soon! Thunder and lightning please?
