the truth is:

I just... I just feel really dumb. It's nagging at me and I'm starting to realize that I won't get into whatever college I want to, just because I may have a pretty portfolio and maybe i have some enthusiasm, they will look at my grades and throw me away. 
And I don't want to get thrown away, but i'm not good enough not to.

Life really hurts right now. I hate being weepy like this so I'll probably delete this in 24 hours :-(

SO the one midterm I wasn't going to worry about is now the one i am FREAKED for.

In other words, I have no triptych ideas!!!!!!!!!!

Fun things ahead!

OHHHH and I have a baby egg for psych now. His name is Gilbert, because I'm going through this Anne of Avonlea withdrawal phase :-). Other than that, the best part in my life right now is how ridiculously wonderful my friends are- if I didn't have them I would stress out about my terrible grades 24/7.

So, not feeling too optimistic about this year!!

P.S. Did you guys have that crazy art sub for Mrs Burns today?!

Marching band is taking over my LIFE, after school things are picking up (acad comp, di, tri-m, nahs), psych notes are ridiculous, lang/chem/math requires thinking, US is stupid and bad in all ways possible, German makes me cry, I can't practice clarinet, my sketchbooks are shameful....

Why is my life so stressful? I have no sleep! I really don't know how you guys do it!
(what is really scary though is when we run out of caffeinated pop)

maybe it's also b/c um, my gparents were here and at our house we followed the amish updates religiously and we're trying to get a new pastor which makes everything kind of frantic.

But hey, my parents are going out of town, I'll see my friends, and I'll be spending a good fifteen hours in band this weekend...!!

So maybe things will get better!

Today: 

U.S. presentations- 
"Our resume says 'John Regular Adams' because it took us about halfway in to figure out that John Adams is different from John Quincy Adams- they're actually father and son!!!?!!! Who knew?!" 
um...

In other news, I watched some TV tonight that my mom taped for me:
"The Class"- new, ridiculously funny. It has Coney-bear from Spelling Bee in it (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) who is my absolute FAVORITE and he gave Kristen a hug when we saw it. Oh mannn this is the best... everyone should see it at least once, i think its on on mondays.
hahaha.

and of course Grey's- which made me cry- we didn't tape the last five minutes so next week will be a TOTAL surprise :-). oh boy!

-BAND CAMP!!!!!!!!! :-)
-some more band camp!!!!!!
-some more serious bonding
-eat a whole lot of crab
-be upset they moved our game to labor day weekend, then get over it.
-probably watch more movies
-go to DC to the new and improved portrait gallery
-see WICKED (!!), take a long weekend in NY for the Met and some other cool things.

So a marvelous first week of Gilmore Girls (season 4) and Sims2 (oh gosh)! But it will be super nice to get back to a schedule. Especially with fun things like drawing. Oh boy oh boy! I'm just going to forget about all that german homework and SUCH that I have to do.... :-).
